I Devour Words Written By Ink

I confess, I am a bookworm. I devour words from books, magazines, newspapers, the internet, heck even boards and ads I read everywhere. I like how written words can cause one to think, to love, to feel pain. I like how written words can pierce your inner being, make love to your inner soul and pinch your sullen feelings.

As much as a bookworm am I, I still haven't read the Kama Sutra. I don't know why I really didn't have the drive and the will to even begin to read it. Maybe because I get stimulated more by reading words and then imagining the scenes in my head. Does that mean I am more cerebral than visual?

If you are cerebral than visual or if you are both, then you can get a fill from this wonderful site, EdenFantasys. Join venerated erotica publisher Cleis Press, EdenFantasys and SexIs in an ongoing online book club for inquiring minds who love to read about all things sexual—from the politics of pornography to the erotically evocative boundaries of desire.

For the Goddess Too Well Known

For the Goddess Too Well Known
by Elsa Gidlow

I have robbed the garrulous streets,
Thieved a fair girl from their blight,
I have stolen her for a sacrifice
That I shall make to this night.

I have brought her, laughing,
To my quietly dreaming garden.
For what will be done there
I ask no man pardon.

I brush the rouge from her cheeks,
Clean the black kohl from the rims
Of her eyes; loose her hair;
Uncover the glimmering, shy limbs.

I break wild roses, scatter them over her.
The thorns between us sting like love's pain.
Her flesh, bitter and salt to my tongue,
I taste with endless kisses and taste again.

At dawn I leave her
Asleep in my wakening garden.
(For what was done there
I ask no man pardon.)

Wild Nights

"Wild Nights - Wild Nights!"
by Emily Dickinson

Wild Nights - Wild Nights!
Were I with thee
Wild Nights should be
Our luxury!

Futile - the Winds -
To a Heart in port -
Done with the Compass -
Done with the Chart!

Rowing in Eden -
Ah, the Sea!
Might I but moor - Tonight -
In Thee!

It's Another Manic Monday

Well, I have attempted to write something but I can't seem to string words together to form coherent statements. I am at a loss for words. In the meantime, I hope these pictures would suffice your lusty thoughts. Here's some eyecandy...

My back is turned on you...
